VAT rate change policy On the 24th November 2008 the Chancellor announced that the standard rate of VAT will be reduced to 15% on the 1st December 2008. In keeping with these changes, we will pass on the 2.5% VAT reduction to our customers. The reduction will be given at the till point against all vat able items.
